Lovely local spot for great breakfast sandwiches ! Got two jersey boys and the hash browns really hit the spot. Seems family run and everyone there was kind and welcoming. Will be coming back next time we’re around the area!

Karen’s Cafe in Greenwood Lake is a hidden gem that you don’t want to miss! The caramel coffee is hands down the best I’ve ever had—rich, flavorful, and just the right amount of sweetness. The gourmet sandwiches are super tasty, and the smoothies are out of this world! But what truly makes this place special is Karen herself. Her warm, welcoming, and professional service makes you feel right at home. This is world-class gourmet nestled by the lake. A must-visit if you’re in the area!

We have been passing Karen’s Cafe for years and finally decided to stop in today. WOW!! This place is unique and delicious! We each ordered a breakfast burrito. My husbands had chorizo and a hash brown in it along w eggs and provolone. Mine had eggs, avocado , pepper jack and black beans and bacon . if you think you’ve had breakfast burritos in the past I guaranty you you’ve never had one like this. Each burrito was stuffed and then seemingly put on the grill to get a perfect crisp to it. I am a total breakfast person and this place is amazing! Oh, I can’t forget the chocolate chip banana bread… it was so amazing we bought another to take home w us for later.

Karen’s Cafe is the epitome of a must-visit gem! Housed in a creatively repurposed switch station, this place radiates warmth, thanks to Tony’s infectious hospitality and the motto “home of the good vibe.” My wife’s sausage egg and cheese sammie and my chorizo breakfast burrito were bursting with flavor, elevating classic breakfast dishes. The menu is exciting, the hot sauce samples were a fiery treat, and the owners, Karen and Chris, pour love into every bite. Their new location on Windermere has a promising outdoor area with a garden and games, perfect for summer visits.

We stumbled on Karen’s Café on a weekend trip upstate from NYC, where we live. We were blown away by the delicious food. BEST BREAKFAST BURRITO EVER!!! The ingredients were fresh, flavorful, and made to perfection. The blueberry pancakes were divine. Karen made our food and gave us complimentary drinks. It has a homey small town family feel. We will definitely be back.

What a great stop! The food was excellent! Karen and her family are very friendly. Service was amazing. It is a must if you're in the area. We stayed in the area to be a reasonable distance from Sleepy Hollow. So glad we stopped here for lunch! Thank you Karen!

Simply amazing. Some of the best wraps and sandwiches I’ve ever tried. I love the friendliness of the staff and the vibes of the whole place. I’m happy to hear they opened up their location again and so excited to try every sandwich on that menu. Good job to everyone on that team :)

Don't forget to bring cash—you'll need it, and trust me, you'll want to try multiple items. Our group tried a bit of everything, and every plate was wiped clean. Kudos to the fantastic service!
